Icy Winter Makeup

Though I love a gold smokey eye and a red berry lip around the holidays, I always opt for something further out of the box every so often. I had to share this particular look with you because I've brought everyone's favorite summer trend into the colder months. Blue liner. Known for being that pop of colour on the first day of a summer music festival, now being transformed into a brisk winter look. Be unique and sport a striking blue liner at your next Christmas party, it'll look as if you've just stepped off a chilly sleigh ride that's left you with icy eyes, rosy cheeks and frost bitten lips. Elsa would approve.

When wearing this ice queen wanna be makeup, one must keep structure in mind. Though we want rosy cheeks we also want chiseled cheek bones. Don't be afraid to go a tad further towards the Maleficent look then normal.  

Obviously this stunning blue wing is the center piece of the look, but to add a touch of glitz to this frosty makeover, lightly dust some silver shimmer over the lids. You'll be beaming.

To top things off in a true winter fashion, glide on some of my favorite nude gloss. Weirdly, I love the pale, "looks as though you have frost bite" lips. They have an elegance about them.

Bonus points for you if you noticed that my nail polish matches my eyeliner.
