Catwalk to Sidewalk Beauty With Dior

Flash back to fashion month. Who could forget the mesmerizing makeup from Dior's Fall 2016 Ready-To-Wear show? I tend to only catch either super natural or totally unwearable makeup looks on the runway, so when I saw this minimalist look that still packed a serious punch, I fell head over heels. I wasn't alone in this love affair, as tons of it-girls such as Kendall Jenner sported this very same look on the streets of our fashion capitals during the past few weeks.
Let's have some fun trying something a little bit different for the spring months.

Enjoy.

Pale skin, strong brows and a vampy lip is pretty much unheard of when it comes to the spring and summer. But I take pride in my "who cares what the trends are" type attitude when it comes to this stuff. The more I thought about this look, the more I loved it. Between the contoured cheekbones, clumpy mascara and verging on black, purple lips, this look is both classy and edgy. It also doesn't hurt that makeup looks like this compliment my ghostly pale skin perfectly.

As I sifted through my wardrobe for the perfect ensemble to go with the makeup, I knew I had to continue with the minimalist theme, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the finished result. Who knew that white on white with a touch of beige could make such a statement when paired with a bold pout? Obviously, I topped off the look with some gold jewelry but that was really it. All that was left to do was brush my hair into a Kim K inspired low, sleek pony and I was out the door. Very little time actually went into this look, yet it's not remotely sloppy and I believe anyone can achieve it.

Thanks for reading.
