You know that feeling when you try a new dish at a restaurant and you're so blown away that you know it's going to be the only thing you order from then on? Or perhaps the feeling of trying on a new lip gloss when the colour comes out exactly how you want it to and it's not sticky in the slightest.
Do you know the feeling I'm talking about? The feeling when something strikes you in a way that makes you never want to consider anything else but it.
When it comes to style, it's hard to find that feeling. By the end of every day, I always wonder how I could have made my outfit better. What if I chose a patterned top instead or what if I wore my hair down? It's the curse of a perfectionist and also the curse of being creative. It's rare for me to completely commit to one thing, whether that be a look, a scent, a hair colour, etc. With that in mind, I want you all to mark your calendars, because today emeroo admits that she has found a look that is absolutely full proof.
We all know the feeling of waking up far too late and not having a single clue what we are going to throw on. There's nothing worse than a rushed outfit, but since finding my niche I never have to worry about that. When those mornings find me I reach for my staples, ripped jeans, a plain or graphic tee (monochrome of course), a leather jacket and a pair of boots or sneakers. It seems far too simple for a fashion blogger, right? But when a look is this easy, the little details are able to shine through. Like these bad ass boots, the Tom Ford illustration on the South Parade tee, the robust zippers on the Marc Jacobs backpack and the pop or forest green on the jacket. Throw your hair in a sleek low bun and swipe on a dark lip and no one will ever guess that you woke up 30 minutes ago.

Whether your niche is trousers and a blouse, a flowing dress or a pair of skinny jeans and a cashmere knit, once you've found it you'll never have to sporadically throw together an outfit again. No matter what you'll have something to fall back on that will guarantee comfort and confidence.
Thanks for reading.
