BIG REVEAL. I Cut My Hair!

TA-DA! It's a brand new emeroo!

Sometimes you just need a change. The work I had put in to grow out my hair had finally paid off and I loved my long locks every moment I had them. But I also know that my hair wasn't only there for me, but also for family, friends, significant others ;), and you! Part of me thought having long silver hair would aid in my domination of the blogging industry. Alas, that epic takeover is yet to happen.

Many people encouraged me to never cut my hair, let it grow longer and longer. Some were extremely hesitant about the idea of me cutting it, said I should just get a trim or wait until I get over the whole idea. And of course some were all for it. I am aware that it is JUST HAIR. But it's my hair and cutting it made me feel powerful and in control of myself. I wanted more than anything for this to be an action I took for myself and no one else.

So here we are! Ten inches gone and I couldn't feel more free. Of course it will take some getting used to but it's a new adventure that I am beyond excited to experience, and share with you.
