4 Beauty Discoveries That Have Changed My Life

As you can probably guess, I'm absolutely LOVING my routine at the
moment. I've made some incredible discoveries lately of both products
and techniques. You might want to keep reading because what your
about to read will change your makeup forever.

 New Mascara

I've never loved my lashes. They're not super long
or thick. But, because of this mascara, I have a whole new appreciation
for my eye lashes. It's almost as if I didn't know they existed until
now.
I never expected to love this mascara but it totally
blew me away for these 2 reasons.
1. My lashes have never looked so long, full
and curly (and stayed that way throughout the day).
2. There hasn't been much
hype about this product on social media.
Normally in this day and age,
 if something's good, everyone knows.

New Foundation

This is another product that I was shocked by. I'm
constantly blown away by how amazing it is, considering the price tag.
Money aside, this is nicer then any high end foundation I've tried. I
know that's a big statement to make but I truly stand by it. The name
"lasting finish" is no joke, this stuff doesn't require a primer or even
powder to make it last all day.
Coverage wise it can be built from light/medium to full but no matter
how much you pile on, it still looks like skin.
I would say this is half way between a dewy and
a satin finish so it is up to you whether or no to powder.
Seriously, your face will look flawless and you won't even
be able to tell your wearing makeup.
The only down side is the that it has a very pink
under tone, which isn't the best for some people. I have quite pink skin
so normally I like my foundation to be on the yellower side, but it's
hardly a problem with this foundation.

Foundation and Concealer Application

I've set my Eco Tools foundation brush and Real Techniques buffing brush
aside, thereare new brushes in town and I don't think I'll be going
back any time soon.
When I first thought of applying my foundation with a fluffy blush
brush, I obviously wasn't expecting it to go well.
But, this application method has absolutely changed my makeup life.
I honestly don't know how/why this works so well,
all I know is that my foundationhas never looked more
flawless or more like skin.
Pair this technique with my new
favorite foundation and you'll be a happy camper.
The same goes for concealer. After the success of the blush brush
I tried applyingmy concealer with a fluffy crease brush
(for your eyes) and the results were
incredible. I truly believe that this is the future of makeup. You may think
I'm crazy, but before you go judging just try it, you'll be mesmerized.

Highlighting

Obviously highlighting in general is not a new discovery, I just never really
appreciated what it can do until now. I recently got this gorgeous
Physicians Formula highlighting powder and once you break through the
icky barrierof sparkles that's on the top you get this
beautiful, natural highlight.
It has just the right amount of shimmer, something that
is a must when looking for a good
highlighter. I simply love the glow it gives to the skin, making you look
healthy and vibrant.
Sometimes I'll even wear this as an all over powder, just to give my
skin an extra boost, but on normal days, the cheek bones, cupids bow,
inner corner of the eyes and the brow bone are where this product hits home.

I hope you found some of these tips/tricks/recommendations useful in some way.
