My lovely parents decided to treat our whole family to a beautiful dinner at the Mission Hills winery in B.C.
I was blown away by the gorgeous views, stunning architecture and delicious food.
I've mixed in a few fashion and makeup photos just so you have an idea what I would use/wear to a place like this. My dress is Costablanca, shoes are Coach and my bag, well, I got that in Italy from a tall, dark, and hansom street vendor ;).
I decided on sporting this bright orange, over-the-shoulder bag to add a pop of colour to this otherwise overcast outfit. Though the breeze was gusting on the hillside I still managed to hold my skirt down graciously enough for some photos.
For my makeup I opted for minimal coverage, using M.A.C Pro Longwear concealer only where I needed it and then setting it with the "Banana" powder from the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit.
For eyebrows I did my same old boring routine using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the colour "Medium Brown" just to fill in the sparseness of my brows, topped off with the Maybelline Brow Drama gel in the colour "Soft Brown" to make sure the brow hairs were not going ANYWHERE.
On my cheeks I did a dusting of NARS "Orgasm" blush just to add a pinch of colour and sparkle.
My eyes were super easy, just a sweeping of Benefit "Birthday Suit" cream eyeshadow with NARS dual-intensity eyeshadow in "Himalia" packed all over the lid and then blended out. After that I simply doused my lashes in Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and the look was almost complete.
Finally for lips I dabbed on some Smashbox Be Legendary lip gloss in the colour "Pout" to add some major plumping to the lips.
A look is never complete without a spritz of perfume right? I went for my absolute favorite scent at the moment which is Jo Malone "Wild Bluebell".

As we strolled through the underground tunnels and cellars of the winery I was reminded of the winding railroad tracks that lead to the vaults in Gringotts (that is a Harry Potter reference for those who are very confused). The only difference here is that on either side of these tracks are rows and rows of ginormous wine barrels.
All the items on this exquisite menu sounded absolutely delectable. Each item is categorized by a cute little, emoji inspired food picture. Such a great idea right?
I am naturally a very picky eater but speaking on the terms of my family, who all ordered much more intricate dishes then I did, the food was divine.

I can personally tell you that the dessert was certainly like nothing I had ever eaten before.
First, there was a tangy blueberry compote as a base under the spongiest sponge cake you'll ever try. To top it all off were creamy dollops of mascarpone whipped cream and a rich blueberry sauce.
We couldn't possibly go to such an amazing restaurant and only order one dessert, after all, we were sharing amongst the whole table.
The second treat was a crumbled granola cake with marshmallows and chocolate chunks. Combined with this already mouth-watering mix were candied almonds and a luxurious red wine infused chocolate drizzle.
It was a truly perfect way to end the day.
Thanks for reading.
