What better way is there to spend the last fleeting moments of fall then out in corn mazes and pumpkin patches with you're friends and family? While the air is still bearable in temperature (it's about to get pretty cold up in Canada) and the leaves are still crunchy I just had to get out from some photos. Here are my favorites from the wonderful day.
Enjoy.
Just as I walking through the gates to the McMillan farm I hear someone yelling behind me. I was so wrapped up in the settings on my camera to notice that it just so happened to be my good friends and favorite couple, Syd and Elina. I quickly got past the fact that they hadn't originally invited me to go to the pumpkin patch with them and dragged them off to the corn maze for some cute pics. However, on the way I obviously got distracted by my brother's adorable dog and the cute little chickens in the pen.
Off
to the corn maze we went, freaking Elina out in the process by talking
about getting lost in it and feeling claustrophobic. It turned out to be
much easier to maneuver through then I remembered, then again, the last
time I went through that maze was when I was about 10 years old.
Pumpkin picking time! It always takes me ages to pick the perfect pumpkin. I need one that's not to oval, more round and cute but with a flat side for carving. I know, I'm high maintenance. Luckily this wee little patch had tons of perfect little Emily approved pumpkins.
If you're a regular reader you're probably thinking "really Emily, the Joni jeans again? Do you ever wear anything else?" Well, truth be told I love these jeans more then any other pair I own so they're going to keep cropping up (do you get the pun?) in whatever I'm doing. That just shows how highly I recommend them! Plus, they went perfectly with my new black leather jacket with the fuzzy fur collar that I just can't get enough of!
I hope you all have enjoyed my various fall post from the past few weeks and I do hope you all had a super awesome, spooky scary Halloween! Get ready, it's November now and you know what that means? CHRISTMAS!
Thanks for reading.
-Emily
