All You'll Ever Need In Your Handbag

I'm sorry that I've been MIA for a couple of weeks, I decided to take a little break from blogging and have a 100% "do nothing" Christmas. I hope you all had a jolly great holiday! I did love my mini vacation but now that I'm sitting here, talking to you guys again I realize how much I've missed blogging. So, for one of the last posts of 2015 I decided to do something I've been wanting to do for quite some time. As you probably know, I'm obsessed with handbags, another thing you probably could have guessed is that I am super OCD. Those two things put together make for a wonderfully organized, perfectly planned, beautifully packed handbag. I'm sure you're all familiar with the enormous mass of "what's in my bag" videos on YouTube. If you're not then you've truly been missing out. Unlike those videos, which are based on being realistic in the fact that a woman's handbag is most often a black hole of unnecessary trinkets, crumpled up receipts and gum, I want to show you what could be and what should be. The ideal for every persons bag. For the perfect collection, here's what I would pack.

 GUM
Let's start with an absolute necessity. Gum. Normally I carry a minty flavored chew, but who doesn't love a good throw back to those bubble blowing days.

  HAND SANITIZER
If you know me at all, you'll know I'm a notorious germaphobe. This is a must.

WALLET
This is where the cards are kept. How else could you shop?

PHONE
Duh!

AGENDA
I'm constantly trying to make myself more organized. If I don't write it down in my agenda, it will not get done. Period.

JOURNAL
I couldn't live without the constant act of list making. Where you might write your thoughts and feelings, I'm making lists upon lists upon lists.

COLOURING BOOK
Travel size of course. Perfect for an anxious mind like mine.

PENCIL CASE
I have to have something to write and colour with of course.

GLASSES
I'm a reader

SUN GLASSES
To shield your makeup free eyes or just to add a touch of mystery.

WIRELESS SPEAKER
Music follows me wherever I go

HEADPHONES
Just in case no one else wants to listen to Justin Bieber. 

MAKEUP BAG
Complete with concealer for emergency touch ups, a mini roller ball perfume just in case you were rushing, lip balm, mirror, eyelash curlers, mascara, whatever lip colour you've opted for that day, powder, and a retractable kabuki brush fit for the application of everything from blush and bronzer to concealer and powder.

Break free from the norm. Throw out the empty wrappers and pieces of lint collecting at the bottom of your handbag. Pack with the ideal in mind.
