Before you judge, this is NOT a post about quitting shaving throughout the winter, though I'm sure loads of us do that...
Even though January is almost at a close, and there are only a few more weeks left of winter (let's be real, I live in Canada, we have winter until April), it is certainly not to late to try out a new trend for the season. You know me. Every day I'm trying out new styles, inspired by what I see on the runway.
We can call my experiments "runway to road" or "catwalk to sidewalk", which do you like better? Let me know in the comments.
During the last fleeting moments of the cold, I've tried to stand out amongst the sea of ski jackets and black tweed. Of course, in the most fabulous way possible. And what's more fabulous than fur? (Faux fur obviously)
When I think about the bad reputation fur has gained, I picture Cruella De Vil, draped in Dalmatian pelts, looking regally evil. There is no doubt that fur adds a wealthy elegance to any look, seeing as it was made iconic by the worlds most glamorous, and most wealthy women way back in the 20s. However, faux fur, when worn right, can achieve that same royal effect but in a more modern way.
These days, designers like
Take advantage of this fabulously furry trend before warm weather comes!
