Worth > Cost: Luna by Foreo Cleansing Tool

Washing your face with merely your hands alone just doesn't seem to cut it for the 21st century does it? We're constantly being bombarded with various cleansing tools such as the ever-so-famous Clarisonic, as well as copy-cats from Clinique and no name drugstore brands. These bristle headed devices are certainly well hyped, but I've done my research, and for my sensitive, acne prone skin I needed something less harsh. Something that would gently cleanse and exfoliate without aggravating the skin the way bristles would. What you see before you is the one-of-a-kind Luna by Foreo. Before you go ahead and label me as some crazy person who hasn't jumped on the Clarisonic bandwagon, hear me out. The Luna is definitely worth your attention.

Like the Clarisonic, it vibrates as it works with your cleanser to achieve a deeper clean. Where they differ is pretty obvious. With the Luna, you never have to worry about replacing old brush heads since it consists of only tiny silicone nibs. These cute little nibs are incredibly gentle on the skin but still manage to scrub away at clogged pores as well as soothe acne bumps and soften dry skin. Personally, those qualities alone sell this beauty, but some of you may be wondering what the price tag looks like. I know that skin care can rack up some pretty ridiculous prices, especially when shopping at places like Sephora (which is where I got my Luna). But when it comes to caring for your skin, I believe that higher quality products are worth the money. You only have one set of skin and it's crucial that you take care of it.

These "Worth > Cost" posts are all about informing you if pricey products are worth the money. There's no point in throwing out your money on something that's quality doesn't match its price.

I can confidently say that the Luna is worth the $120. There are tons of different types of Lunas, targeted for different skin types. I chose the mini Luna because it's less expensive, but it is still an incredible device. You know that something is really working when you notice a difference if you stop using it. If I forget to bring this with me on holiday for a few days, my skin breaks out more, feels bumpy and looks way more uneven.

I simply couldn't live without my Luna.

Thanks for reading.
