Best Drugstore Brand For Lips

It came to my attention recently that almost all of my favorite drugstore lip products were from Revlon! Coincidence? I'm going to safely say no. Somehow, subconsciously, I am constantly drawn to the Revlon stand when on the hunt for lip products.  Now, I've never taken psychology, but there must be some reason why my brain urns for Revlon, without me even realizing. Maybe these products are just that good! You heard it here folks. Revlon is what your heart should lust for,
in terms of lips at least.

Enjoy.

Let's start with the newest launch from the brand. As anyone interested in beauty will know, liquid lipstick are, for lack of a better word, "all the rage", right now. It's getting to the point where brands are coming out with these matte creams and consumers are thinking "yeah, what else is new?" This craze started with high end brands like Too Faced and Kat Von D, so when it started to trickle into the high-street, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to scavenge for dupes. Compared to the other liquid matte lipsticks I've tried (my favorites being from Kat Von D and NYX), I am thoroughly impressed with the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors.  It's not as long wearing as some, but the colour pay off is gorgeous, and it leaves a semi matte finish that's natural and very flattering. Those of us with dry skin also won't have to worry about gross flaking and peeling that similar products can cause. Big thumbs up from emeroo.

As my love of makeup has grown I'm only becoming more and more of a gloss girl. It's easy, girly and moisturizing. The Ultra HD lip laquers from Revlon are smooth and creamy, have a soft brush applicator, and deliver a color pay off that serves it purpose but could also be applied without a mirror. In my opinion, those traits make for the perfect gloss.

These lipsticks have been around since the dawn of time. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but I can clearly remember using my mom's red Revlon lipstick for dance performances when I was about four. Needless to say, they never got discontinued, and I'm forever grateful. They're not matte, they're not glossy. They are simply the most perfect, smooth, creamy, long wearing lipstick in the drugstore.
I highly highly recommend.

This was one of the very first makeup items I heard about through a YouTuber. I'm fairly certain Zoe once showed this in a Boots haul. The second I saw it, I knew I had to have it, and I haven't looked back since. The Revlon Color Burst Lip Butters are the most wonderful product for young girls, just dipping their toes into the vast sea of makeup. They're creamy and hydrating, sit wonderfully comfortable on the lips and deliver a lovely wash of color that leaves room for error.

The Revlon Color Burst balms have become a cult product over the years. As one of the first dupes for the Clinique Chubby Stick, they drew a ton of attention. Eventually Revlon released them in three different finishes and a ton of beautiful colors. I have the lacquer balm and the balm stain, both which are creamy, smooth and favorites in my collection. The lacquer has more pigment and is perfect for a statement lip while the stain is perfect in the summer, delivering a wash of colour that lasts for hours and hours.

This is my most recent Revlon purchase and I can already tell I am going to love it (and probably purchase more colors). The Ultra HD Lipstick is super pigmented and creamy. After a few hours, it wears off the lips and leaves this wonderful stain. I'm excited about this new discovery.

Again, a product I took from Zoella's recommendation.  This, like the balm stain, is amazingly long wearing and leave you with that wonderful "just bitten" type of a pout. Layer it for a bold look or dot on and blend for something more subtle. This is a very versatile product.
