Summer Style Part 5: White on White

We've made it everyone! We have finally reached the fifth and final part in my Summer Style series. It's been a wild ride filled with grunge, mixing colours, minimalism, and the most coveted trends for this summer. But you all know that here on emeroo, we don't just follow trends, we experiment and we shape things to fit our personal style.

For my final installment I have my take on the simple, but still statement trend that is the all white ensemble. I can't help but think of Victoria Beckham when considering this colour scheme. Though I'm sure she would approach it in a more streamlined way, where I have gone for a summery, girlish vibe. Both very well loved by me. Putting the stylish Brit aside, the white on white theme can be intimidating, but when you really think about it, doesn't it seem silly to be afraid of wearing absolutely no colour at all? Think about it.

Enjoy.

I can't seem to remember a time where I didn't pair this gorgeous white midi skirt with my favorite pair of sneakers. The inclusion of my white Ted Baker trainers in an "all white" post was sort of a given. Along with them I went for a simple wrap front body suit, a new addition to my wardrobe and one that I can't get enough of. Finally, to fend off the windiness of the day I threw on a cropped denim jacket, lined at the edges with a black chain detail that always makes me think of Alexander McQueen. Overall, it is as simple a look to achieve as any, we just have to embrace the lack of colour! I only have two guidelines for you when experimenting with white. Don't wear it to any summer weddings and don't worry about the silly "white after labor day" rule. I never really understood what that was all about anyway.

Thanks for reading.
