New York Fashion Week has come and gone and we are now heading past London and into Milan. But that doesn't mean we can't remissness about the weeks passed. I have a bitter sweet outlook on Fashion month at the moment, simply because of the fact that I'm not there yet. So while we wait for that glorious day to come, I want to play dress up and pretend I'm being stopped by Phil Oh (street style photographer), sitting front row with the A-listers and walking the streets of NY, London, Milan and Paris. Stay tuned every Sunday for the next 3 weeks for a peak at what I would wear if I had gone to fashion month. Let's face it, seeing what people wear to the shows is half the fun of Fashion Week! We may urn for the fresh collections but it's crucial to plan what to wear when getting from A-B, or rather, Altuzzara-Balenciaga ;).
To start, let's talk about the big apple. New York is always such an exciting way to kick off Fashion Month as I find the vibe to be much more youthful, experimental and risky compared to the other three cities.
Think of it this way.
There's a friend group of four girls, you've got the preppy one, the minimalist one, the girly one and the edgy, cool one. Obviously the edgy, cool girl would be named NYC. Not only is the design team young and fresh, the street style is miles outside of the box. I think Alexander Wang summed up the essence of NYFW this year with his always edgy SS collection, cool but classic collaboration with Adidas and of course, the major banger he threw in celebration of the new collection. When CL and Travis Scott are performing at your party, it doesn't get much cooler.
When I started brainstorming these posts I instantly knew I wanted to keep it classic with this look. I'm a minimalist at heart but I'm never without a few twists...
I couldn't imagine going to New York without this clever Tom Ford tee. For such a simple piece it brings endless character to any look and is a one of a kind substitute for a plain white tee. Of course, it doesn't get more emeroo than a white tee and a pair of black TopShop Joni jeans. Along with that winning pair, I threw on this gorgeous leopard print coat that always reminds me of Kate Moss. If a piece of clothing can make you feel even remotely like "le Moss", you're doing something right.

I may be modest when it comes to accessories but I don't mess around with my foot wear. It presents the most ideal opportunity for an eye catching look.
For once in my life I'm at a loss for words. I think the only way I can describe these boots is, killer.
Imaginary London is coming next week on emeroo. Stay tuned.
Thanks for reading.
